How do I get into the right frame of
mind?
I feel that the comments on this page will contribute to a successful photo session:
Do not schedule a shoot at a time you know beforehand will be stressful for you at work or in your personal lives.
Create a relaxed atmosphere with no interruptions in a stress-free zone: Give yourself enough time before the shoot, allow enough time for the shoot and do not schedule yourself to dash off somewhere else immediately afterwards. Treat the day of the shoot as an indulgence day for you and the children.
Pets are not a problem. In fact, if you have pets and we are shooting at your home, I would like to incorporate them in some of the photos.
Turn your mobile phone off.
The time spent with you and your family is meant to be fun and special. Children will be children and if it doesn't happen on the day, c'est la vie. We can reschedule at no extra cost. I generally do get something special though…
